2. What data we process and its source

We process only the data you provide yourself through the contact form:

• — name,
• — email address,
• — website address (optional),
• — the message text.

The source of the data is you directly; we do not collect data about you from other sources, and we do not buy databases.

3. Purpose and legal basis of processing

We process the data for a single purpose: to get in touch with you and respond to your quote request or enquiry.

• — Legal basis (primary): taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• — Legal basis (additional): our legitimate interest in answering and keeping a record of the business enquiries we receive (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may request information about the outcome of the balancing test for this legitimate interest at the email address above.

We send an automatic acknowledgement to the email address you provide, confirming that your message arrived; this is part of the same purpose.

4. Recipients and data processors

We do not sell or publish your data. To deliver messages and operate the website, we use the following data processors:

• — Resend, Inc. (email delivery): forwards the contact form message to us by email and sends you the acknowledgement.
• — Vercel, Inc. (hosting and cookieless traffic analytics): serves the website.

Both providers operate in the United States, so processing may involve a transfer of data to a third country. This is safeguarded by the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or, in its absence, by the standard contractual clauses (SCC) applied as appropriate safeguards.

5. Retention period

We keep enquiries until the matter is closed, or for the duration of any cooperation, and otherwise for at most 24 months from the enquiry, after which we delete them, unless a law (for example an accounting obligation) requires longer retention. You may request earlier deletion of your data at any time.

6. Nature of providing the data

Providing the data is voluntary and is not a statutory or contractual obligation. However, providing your name, email address, and message is necessary for us to answer your enquiry; without them we cannot respond.

7. Your rights

In relation to your personal data, you have the following rights:

• — access to the data we process,
• — rectification of it,
• — erasure (the "right to be forgotten"),
• — restriction of processing,
• — objection to processing based on legitimate interest,
• — data portability.

You can submit your request at info@bitnex.hu. We respond without undue delay, within one month at the latest.

8. Remedies

If you believe our processing breaches the law, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:

Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., naih.hu, ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu.

If your rights are infringed, you may also go to court; the case may be brought before the regional court of your place of residence or stay.

9. Automated decision-making and cookies

We do not make automated decisions and do not carry out profiling. The website does not use tracking cookies to function; traffic analytics run without cookies or personal identification, so no consent banner is required. The only cookie we set is a functional language preference (NEXT_LOCALE), written when you switch languages so the site reopens in your chosen language; it is strictly necessary, holds no personal data, and needs no consent.
